Join us on a full-day boat adventure through the stunning landscapes of Disko Bay, exploring remote settlements, historic sites, and breathtaking Arctic nature.

Departing from Ilulissat, we sail north towards Alluttoq (Arveprinsens Ejland), one of the largest islands in Disko Bay. Along the journey, we pass several fascinating locations that offer a glimpse into Greenland's history, culture, and way of life.

Depending on ice conditions, we may stop in Ataa, an abandoned settlement located in a beautiful and secluded area. If conditions allow, guests can go ashore and explore the remains of the former settlement.

The tour continues to Arsivik, a traditional hunter's settlement used seasonally by local hunters, before sailing onward to Torsukattak, an important fishing area on the island's northern side.

Along the route, we also pass the impressive bird cliffs, where thousands of seabirds nest during the summer months. We continue past the abandoned settlement of Appat, once home to a thriving community, and sail by the charming village of Oqaatsut (Rodebay) before returning to Ilulissat.

Throughout the day, you will enjoy spectacular views of Disko Bay's dramatic scenery, icebergs, mountains, and remote coastlines. There are excellent opportunities for photography, wildlife spotting, and learning about Greenland's unique history and culture.
