Sunset Cruise

A two-hour cruise into the turning light

From August to September, Nuuk's endless summer days start to fade. The sun sets again,

properly this time, and the sky runs through gold, pink and deep blue before the first stars

show.

This guided two-hour evening cruise takes you out into the fjord right as the sun goes down,

when the colour is at its fullest.

Closed boat, warm cabin, and an open deck for photos. We leave the harbour in the early

evening and return as the light settles into dusk, a quieter sister to our winter Northern Lights

tour, and the first sign that the dark season is on its way.

What's included?
    • Warm beverages (tea, coffee) and snacks
    • Expert local captain and guide
    • Indoor seating in a heated cabin
    • Spacious deck for optimal viewing and photography
    • Onboard restroom
    Exclusions
      Please note
        What to bring

Even in summer, Arctic waters can be chilly. We recommend:

          • A warm, windproof jacket
          • Layered clothing(wool or fleece for insulation)
          • Gloves, a hat, and a scarf
          • Sturdy, warm footwear
          • Sunglasses(especially in summer, when the ice reflects a lot of light)

Our boat has a heated cabin, but you’ll want to step outside to fully experience the icefjord.
