Join us on an unforgettable journey into the heart of Nuuk Fjord’s breathtaking landscape. 

This 6-hour adventure takes you to the historic settlements of Qoornoq and Kapisillit, surrounded by dramatic mountains, deep fjords, and authentic Greenlandic culture.

We depart from Nuuk and cruise into one of the world’s largest fjord systems. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of steep mountain slopes, scattered islands, and—if we’re lucky—Arctic wildlife such as seals, eagles, or even whales during the summer season.

Our first stop is Qoornoq, an abandoned settlement with picturesque red-and-white houses that stand as a quiet reminder of life in earlier times. Here, we take a short walk and learn about the history of the area and its former residents.

We then continue deeper into the fjord to Kapisillit—the only permanently inhabited settlement in Nuuk Fjord. Kapisillit is known for its beautiful location and as home to Greenland’s only natural salmon population. You’ll have time to explore the village, take in the surrounding nature, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

<b>Participants:</b> Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 3 tickets, at least 1 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 6 people will participate. 

<b>Language:</b> The guide/captain speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
