The boat tour to Oqaatsut begins at the harbour starting point in Ilulissat, with comfortable boat. The guide will go through a quick safety and itinerary briefing and then sails towards Oqaatsut. Chance to see whales in the summer!

Upon arrival at Oqaatsut, the guide will take you on a 3-hour tour of this historic village. Founded in 18th century, Oqaatsut once a traditional fishing and whaling village. Today, it's a popular tourist hub, whale watching, hiking, dogsledding, Hotel Nordlys and Restaurant H8.

Learn about the village's important history and the local traditions like fishing and hunting still practised by the community in this remote location.
