Midnight Sun Cruise from Nuuk

2 hours

Easy

A summer evening boat cruise into Nuuk Fjord under the endless light of the midnight sun.

A two-hour cruise into theendless Arctic light

From late May to early August, the sun stops setting in Nuuk. This guided two-hour evening

cruise takes you out into the fjord at the latest possible hour, when the light turns

gold-and-pink and stays that way for hours.

Closed boat, warm cabin, and an open deck for photos. The cruise runs late — we leave the

harbour close to midnight and return as the light changes again — a quieter, sister experience

to our winter Northern Lights tour.

        What to bring

Even in summer, Arctic waters can be chilly. We recommend:

          • A warm, windproof jacket
          • Layered clothing(wool or fleece for insulation)
          • Gloves, a hat, and a scarf
          • Sturdy, warm footwear
          • Sunglasses(especially in summer, when the ice reflects a lot of light)

Our boat has a heated cabin, but you’ll want to step outside to fully experience the icefjord.
