Icefjord cruise, 6 hours tour

We sail deep into Godthåbsfjorden

Godthåbsfjorden is the second largest fjord in the world and stretches for over 160 km.

Depending on how much ice there is, we sail as far as it is safe towards Narsap Sermia (the ice cap).

Experience the thumping ice floes on the boat, the sound of bubbling ice floes in the water, and the precious silence when the engine is turned off.

Plus, the scent of the combination of the sea and the ice floes.

On the trip, you will see everything from the ice sheet's scrapings on the mountains and the thousands of years of ice floes of different shapes and colors in the water. You may also be lucky enough to see several different animal species along the way, such as seals, eagles, and whales.

So, if you are into beautiful natural scenery, this is definitely the trip for you.

On the way back, we will sail past the abandoned village of Qoornoq, where you will be allowed to take a short walk by your own. It will also be possible to sail past the popular waterfall from Nuuk's landmark Sermitsiaq.
