This is an alternative to our most popular tour, “Dog sledding in the mountains”, which combines snowmobile and dog sledding tours. We start at our dog farm in the city, where you will get to know the enthusiastic sled dogs and help get the bucket and sled ready for the trip. When you're ready, Jørgen, five-time Greenlandic champion in dog sledding and co-owner of Dogsled and Ice Academy, will lead the way as you traverse the vast plains.

We have a cosy break at the foot of Mount Akinnaq with coffee or hot chocolate, time to take pictures and of course lots of dog cuddles.

Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if at least 2 tickets have been booked in total. For example, if you book 1 ticket, at least 1 additional ticket must be sold to other customers for the tour to be completed. A maximum of 4 people can attend.

Language:The guide speaks English, Danish and Greenlandic
