Day Boat Tour to Tiilerilaaq and Sermerlik Icefjord
Day trip by boat where we visit an old winter settlement - Tiilerilaaq and the Sermerlik ice fjord with large icebergs and, with a little luck, whales.
We sail along the Ammassalik island through the beautiful landscape and pass floating ice, which has different sizes and shapes. Our first stop is after 1-2 hours of sailing, where we arrive at a small settlement called Tiilerilaaq, which means "the strait that runs dry at low tide" in Greenlandic. Tiilerilaaq has a view of Sermilikfjorden, which means "ice fjord" in Greenlandic. The view is unique and the surroundings are something very special. We enjoy lunch with a view of the Sermilik fjord, and if time permits, you can take a short walk through the village.
After our stop in Tiilerilaaq, we sail back to Tasiilaq.
