Enjoy the most beautiful places by boat within the Nuuk region in our Fjord adventure! Sights may include the Sermitsiaq waterfall and the shipwreck in Maaluto.

Departing from the Tide Water Steps, a short distance from the Nuuk city centre, jump into our comfortable Targa boats, with our knowledgeable local guides who will take you to explore the waters of Nuuk Fjord and to the most beautiful places in the area.

During your journey, you can either enjoy the scenery from the warm cabin or enjoy the purest air in the world by relaxing on the outside deck! During your journey, you may catch sights of whales, eagles, seals and reindeer if you are lucky! Depending on the weather and the desires of the group, your local guide may alter the fjord adventure route for the best sightseeing opportunities.

About our boats

Despite being a shorter tour, our speedy Targa boats ensure lots to see in just a couple of hours. Our comfortable Targa boats also offer a warm luxurious way to travel on the Greenlandic seas. With a maximum of 8 (Targa 32) or 12 (Targa 37) people per boat, you will have an intimate, small-group experience with your local guide.

What to know in advance:

Minimum participants: For our tours to go ahead we need a minimum of 4 people for our Targa 32 and 6 people for our Targa 37. We will inform you in advance if there are not enough people for the tour to go ahead.

Languages: English, Danish and Greenlandic

Toilet Facilities: There is a toilet aboard

Recommended Clothing: The weather can change quickly so please remember to bring warm clothing. The sun in Greenland can be intense so be sure to pack sunscreen and sunglasses.

If you wish to brave the icy waters, you can try swimming from the boat, for this please let us know and bring your own swimming gear.
