Arctic Fjord Cruise

Three hours into the heart of Nuuk Fjord

Just past the city, Nuuk Fjord opens into one of Greenland's most dramatic stretches of water.

Granite cliffs rise straight from the sea, drifting icebergs catch the light, and Sermitsiaq's

crown-shaped peak watches over everything.

Guided from the deck of our heated Targa, you'll travel a scenic loop through the fjord with

stops shaped by the day, a waterfall, a viewpoint, a silent moment among the ice. Each tour is

different, and every season tells the fjord differently. In summer, the water reflects everything

for hours. In winter, the same waterfall freezes into ribbons of blue ice.

By the time we turn back toward Nuuk, the fjord has shifted: the light, the wind, the angle on

Sermitsiaq. The return is rarely the same trip in reverse. Coffee on the deck, layers in the bag,

the city skyline returning slowly on the horizon, a short trip that covers a long stretch of Arctic.

No matter the season, dressing warmly is key. We recommend wearing multiple layers, including a windproof outer jacket, warm gloves, a hat, and sturdy shoes. Even in summer, the Arctic breeze can be cold, especially when standing out on deck. In winter, extra layers and insulated boots are essential for staying comfortable.
