We ride snowmobiles out of the city and into the backcountry.

The trip takes about 1 hour by snowmobile.

Deep in the ice fjord, on top of a mountain, is our camp.

Here we will spend the night in large heated tents.

The views are stunning and the silence is magical.

The entire day is dedicated to activities such as hiking on the sea ice, ptarmigan hunting, visiting fishermen on the sea ice, and communal activities like collecting ice for drinking water, cooking, etc.

When darkness falls, there is a high probability of seeing the Northern Lights, as there is no light pollution in the area.

After a good night's sleep, we head back to town by snowmobile.

Price includes:

• Snowmobile round trip
• Tent camp with all necessary equipment (warm sleeping bags, sleeping mats, etc.)

It is an advantage to be in reasonably good physical shape, as we will be walking in deep snow and hiking up and down the mountain.
