Join us on an unforgettable boat tour around the iconic Sermitsiaq, one of Greenland’s most famous and breathtaking mountains. Rising 1,210 meters above sea level, Sermitsiaq stands majestically in the Nuuk Fjord and offers spectacular views of steep cliffs, glaciers, and untouched Arctic wilderness.

During the tour, we sail around the mountain and visit the beautiful waterfall cascading directly into the fjord. Along the way, you will experience the peaceful beauty of Greenland’s nature while surrounded by dramatic landscapes and floating ice.

Keep an eye out for Arctic wildlife — if you are lucky, you may spot whales, seals, seabirds, and other wildlife native to the fjord. Our experienced crew will share stories about the area, its nature, and local culture, making this journey both scenic and memorable.

Duration: 2 hours

Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 6 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 4 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 10 people will participate.

Language: The guide/captain speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic

Boat Type: Open/closed boat

Toilet Facilities: There is a toilet aboard

Catering: Coffee and tea served aboard

Recommended Clothing: Warm clothes incl. hat, gloves all year. Sunglasses. Sunscreen during summer.

          We recommend bringing warm and windproof clothing, as Arctic weather can change quickly. A hat, gloves, and comfortable outdoor footwear are highly recommended. Sunglasses and sunscreen can also be useful on sunny days due to reflections from the water and ice.
