An Arctic Night Above Nuuk

Leave the city behind and hike into the mountains for an overnight experience unlike any other. Your destination is a peaceful plateau just below the summit of Kangilia, around 720 metres above sea level, where you'll spend the night surrounded by some of Greenland's most spectacular scenery.

From this elevated viewpoint, you'll look out across Nuuk Fjord—one of the world's largest fjord systems—towards rugged mountain peaks and the vast expanse of the Davis Strait leading west to Canada. As daylight fades, watch the Arctic landscape change colour before settling in for a night immersed in nature.

A Night Under the Stars

There's no better way to experience Greenland's wilderness than by sleeping in the open air.

Instead of pitching a tent, you'll sleep beneath the Arctic sky, tucked into a warm sleeping bag with nothing but mountains, silence and fresh air around you. Before turning in, we'll prepare a hot drink using crystal-clear water from nearby streams fed by melting snow, creating the perfect moment to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

The following morning begins with crisp mountain air, unforgettable views and breakfast with a panorama that few places on Earth can match before we make our way back down the mountain.

This experience is led by passionate local guides who have spent years exploring the Nuuk backcountry. Their knowledge of the landscape, weather, wildlife and Greenlandic culture adds depth to every step of the journey.

We believe the best experiences happen in small groups. With no more than 8 guests and a 1:6 guide-to-guest ratio, there's more time for individual attention, local stories, spontaneous moments, and a pace that suits the group—not the schedule.
