Hunting King Eider in Greenland is unlike any other waterfowl hunt. From the closed Targa,

you'll navigate the icy fjords and rugged coastline near Nuuk, positioning yourself along prime

migration routes where the birds ride the frigid winds. Patience, precision, and respect for the

        You are allowed to bring your gun to Greenland. However, you must apply for a permit through the Greenlandic police to bring weapons in and out of the country. The process is straightforward but requires you to apply well in advance—at least one month before your trip.

        If you have a layover in another country, such as Denmark, you will also need to apply for a transit permit through Copenhagen Airport. We are happy to assist you with these processes to ensure a smooth experience.

        This expedition is designed for experienced waterfowl hunters as well as those seeking their first King Eider. The unpredictable Arctic conditions demand patience, precision, and resilience.           You’ll need high-quality cold-weather gear, waterproof gloves, and insulated boots. A shotgun suitable for waterfowl hunting is recommended, along with non-toxic ammunition. A full gear list will be provided upon booking.
