Kapisillit Fjord & Settlement Tour
Kapisillit Fjord & Settlement Tour
Join us on an unforgettable boat tour to Kapisillit, the only permanent settlement in the Nuuk Fjord. Home to around 50 residents, this small and peaceful village offers a unique insight into everyday life in a remote Greenlandic community.
During your visit, you will have time to explore the settlement and experience its quiet atmosphere. Kapisillit has its own school, church, and small local community surrounded by breathtaking Arctic nature. You will spend approximately 1–1.5 hours on land, giving you time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings.
The boat journey through Nuuk Fjord is an experience in itself. Along the way, you will sail past dramatic mountains, deep fjords, and beautiful icebergs drifting through the Arctic waters. If you are lucky, you may also spot whales, seals, seabirds, and other wildlife native to the area.
