Icefjord Serenity Cruise

6 timer

Let

Six hours through the drifting ice of Nuuk's Icefjord

Towering icebergs, deep silence, and the slow rhythm of drifting ice. This six-hour cruise takes

you deep into Nuuk's fjord system, where glaciers calve into the sea and the water turns

brilliant blue around the shapes that float on it.

The route leaves the city behind in the first ten minutes, threading past Sermitsiaq's wall of

granite and into the deep, narrow inner fjord that few visitors ever see.

Guided from the deck of our heated Targa, you'll feel the air change as the city falls behind.

Among the icebergs, we slow the boat and let the fjord do the talking, the crack of bergs

shifting, the deep cold radiating off the ice, and the kind of quiet that's hard to find anywhere

else.

What should travelers know before they book?

This is a 6-hour scenic boat tour from Nuuk, designed as a peaceful journey deep into the fjord rather than a fast-paced excursion. The experience is shaped by nature on the day, and route, ice conditions, and possible stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

We always aim to sail as far toward the icefjord as conditions safely allow. This means that no two departures are ever exactly the same, which is also part of what makes the experience special.

The tour takes place on a heated boat and is best suited for travelers who want to experience Greenland in a calm, authentic, and immersive way, with time to enjoy the silence, scenery, and atmosphere of the fjord.

        Hvad skal man medbringe

What to bring on this tour

We recommend dressing warmly in layers, as Arctic weather can change quickly. A windproof jacket, warm hat, gloves, and comfortable outdoor shoes are ideal. Sunglasses are also a good idea on bright days, especially when the light reflects off the water and ice.

You are very welcome to bring your camera or phone, as there are plenty of beautiful photo opportunities throughout the journey.

For extra comfort, we also suggest bringing:

          • A warm mid-layer such as fleece or wool
          • Sunscreen on sunny days
          • Any personal medication you may need
          • A small day bag for your essentials
