Feel the mist of a thunderous waterfall and explore one of the hidden gems of the Discobay area on our combined 4-5 hours boat and hiking tour. 

We'll leave Ilulissat at 9 AM and sail north among the icebergs for around 30 minutes before we anchor the boat at the trailhead leading to the waterfall.

On the hike through true arctic tundra we'll come along fresh water rivers, crystal clear lakes and amazing views of the Discobay. After 30 minutes of hiking, we'll reach the thunderous and picturesque waterfall and have a refreshing taste of the purest ice cold glacial fresh water.

We'll have plenty of time to explore the area, get up close to the waterfall and take the best photos. We'll then hike back to the boat and sail to the small settlement of Oqaatsut.

Before eating a delicious lunch at the local Restaurant H8, we'll do a walk around the settlement and the guide will give an introduction to the history and everyday life of Oqaatsut. After lunch we'll sail back to Ilulissat, hoping to spot whales on the way.
