Eqi Glacier Expedition

Join Blue North Cruise on an unforgettable journey to the magnificent Eqi Glacier, one of Greenland's most active calving glaciers.

Cruising north from Ilulissat, you'll travel through the breathtaking waters of Disko Bay, surrounded by towering icebergs, dramatic Arctic mountains, and untouched wilderness.

As we arrive at the glacier front, we keep a safe distance while you experience the powerful sound of the glacier as huge blocks of ice break away and crash into the sea.

Our spacious Sargo 36 Explorer offers a comfortable and stable ride with heated indoor seating, panoramic views, toilet facilities, and plenty of outdoor deck space for photography.

Along the way, our local captain shares stories about Greenlandic nature, wildlife, and life in the Arctic.

With a maximum of only 12 guests, this expedition offers a relaxed and personal atmosphere far from crowded boats.

Duration: 6 hours

Participants: Please note that the excursion will only take place if a minimum of 4 tickets are booked in total. For example, if you book 2 tickets, at least 2 additional tickets must be sold to other customers for the trip to proceed. A maximum of 10 people will participate.

Language: The guide/captain speaks English, Danish, and Greenlandic
