Experience an unforgettable helicopter tour to Disko Island’s hidden gem, Kvan Dalen. The journey begins and ends in Ilulissat, taking you on a spectacular flight over the crystal-clear waters of Disko Bay, past the charming settlement of Oqaatsut, and along the coastline of Arveprinsens Ejland.

After crossing the bay, we arrive at Disko Island, where the helicopter lands on a mountaintop at the base of the valley. Here, you’ll have approximately 35 minutes to enjoy a breathtaking view of the green valley, surrounded by mountains formed by ancient volcanic activity. Just a 2-minute walk from the landing site, you’ll find the edge of Disko Island’s ice cap. We therefore recommend hiking boots or rubber boots if you’d like to step onto the ice.

After the stop, we fly back to Ilulissat, giving you the opportunity to see the beautiful waterfalls flowing from the ice cap into the valley, and another chance to enjoy the dramatic landscape from above.
